Michael Carrick said he had heard many good things about David Moyes of players in training Moyes ever before.
"I think he [Moyes] obviously has done a terrific job at Everton,"
"He's been there for a long time with the success of the resources he has and he is respected by everyone with whom I spoke."
"All the players who have played for him all enjoy playing with him and saying nice things about him, obviously enough for him to get a chance to be manager of a big club. This is an opportunity for him and a chance for others to maybe do things slightly different but success still keep going. "
"It's definitely a big change because this club has been running for so long under the same person,"
"I have been working under different managers in the past in my career, so there is a sort of little changes I need to do, but yeah, I really can not wait for it, to meet him and get good training in pre-season and hopefully a good future. "
